TTD TPT JEO RELEASES SKVST VASANTHOTSVAM POSTERS

Tirupati,12 May 2017:The Joint Executive Officer of TTD Tirupati Sri Pola Bhaskar Garu, on Friday released the posters of annual vasanthotsavam in Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram in his chambers in TTD administrative building. Temple DyEO Sri Venkataiah was also present.

Meanwhile the three day annual Vasanthotsavams will be observed from May 15-17 in a ceremonial way. On May 16 there will be procession of Swarnaratham between 6pm and 7pm.

The vasanthotsavams are usually observed in all the sub-temples of TTD during the hot summer season. This is a chill-thrill fete being offered to deities as a relief from scorching temperatures.

In the holy month of vaisakha, this Triahnika Mahotsavam(three-day festival) concludes on the advent of auspicious Shravana star. As the flowers and fruits blossom in full bloom, these were offered to the deities and sacred Snapana Tirumanjanam will be performed to utsava murthies.

TTD has cancelled Arjitha Nitya Kalyanotsavam, Swarna Pushparchana and Astottara Sata Kalasabhishekam during these days in connection with this festival.
