TTD VIGILANCE WING IS A PROTECTIVE ARMOUR TO VISITING PILGRIMS-CVSO

Tirupati, 28 April 2014: TTD Chief Vigilance and Security Officer, Sri G Srinivas on Monday advocated that the vigilance and security wing of TTD is a “Protective Armour” to the multitude of visiting pilgrims to Tirumala temple.

Addressing the three-day training session to the TTD Vigilance and Security wing sleuths at SVETA Bhavan in Tirupati on Monday, the CVSO said, the first and foremost duty of TTD especially the Vigilance wing is to provide safety to pilgrims whomso ever visiting Tirumala. “Getting an opportunity in the abode of Lord Venkateswara is because of the good deeds we have done in our previous birth. But the Lord
will bless us only when we discharge our duties with dedication and devotion. Our duty is nothing but providing security cover to the millions of visiting pilgrims who throng the hill temple every day”, he reiterated.

Later Retired DSP Sri Narayana Swamy explained the sleuths on various important acts embedded in AP Charitable and Religious Institutions Endowments Act and also on do’s and don’ts in Tirumala, punishments if anyone deviates the rules, how to act during emergency situation etc.

Additional CVSO Sri Shivakumar Reddy, VGO Sri Eshwar Reddy, AVSOs Sri Vishwanath, Sri Srinivasulu, Sri Katamaraju and others were also present.
