TTD WARNS OF LEGAL ACTION AGAINST PACKAGE TOUR OPERATOR FOR MISLEADING DEVOTEES

Tirumala, 27 September 2021: TTD warned that it will initiate legal action against M/s Vasavi Yatra and Tours for allegedly misleading devotees of providing VIP break Darshan at Sri Padmavati Temple, Tiruchanoor and Sri Venkateswara temple Tirumala on Saturdays during holy Puratasi month with chartered Helicopter trips.

In a statement released on a Monday TTD appealed to devotees not to be carried away with such fake publicity campaigns and beware of such fraudulent operators.

TTD said an operator by the name B Shiva Kumar is found openly publicising through social media of providing such package tours from Chennai, Coimbatore and Bangalore via helicopter trips. The said operator has also publicized that the package tours will be arranged for a payment of Rs.1,11,116 which includes chartered Helicopter trips to Tirupati along with VIP break darshan at Tirumala and Tiruchanoor besides accommodation in a five star hotel.

TTD clearly stated that the VIP Break tickets will be provided only to Protocol VIPs and for persons recommended by such VIPs. However such VIP break tickets are not provided to private individuals and tourist organisations.

TTD has appealed to devotees to cautiously monitor such happenings and beware of such fraudulent operators and if contacted by such elements, they should immediately bring to the notice of TTD for initiating necessary action against such miscreants.
