TTD WEB SITE TO BE MORE PILGRIM FRIENDLY BY 2016-TTD EO

Tirupati, 24 July 2015: The official web site of TTD is set for a overall new look, especially to become more pilgrim and browser friendly by 2016 for the sake of next gen browsers.

TTD Executive Officer Dr D Samba Siva Rao on Friday directed the IT wing of TTD to work on the next gen online solution along with the TCS IT experts teams and prepare an attractive, informative and user friendly website by Jan next.

A review meeting on TTD web site was held in the chambers of TTD EO in Administrative Building on Friday. The EO said, there is need to improve the official web site of TTD for the sake of netizens. “We should create a simplified booking experience for the browser and for that one integrated system across the online channels should be developed”, he felt.

Adding further the EO said, the website should have an integrated darshan, accommodation, payment gateway options, improved reconciliation process, donor management system etc. apart from alternative availability checking options, simplified navigation, easy data capture of pilgrims”, he maintained.

The EO also suggested the TTD IT and TCS teams to see every possibility of simplified verification for Darshan Entry Process and even improved predictability for unplanned darshan.

Additional FACAO Sri O Balaji, GM Transport and IT wing HoD Sri Sesha Reddy, PRO Sri T Ravi, TCS team were also present.
