TTD’S 12-SHEET CALENDAR RECEIVES GOVERNOR COMPLIMENTS

TIRUMALA, NOV 19: The Honourable Governor of AP and TS states, Sri ESL Narasimhan has complimented the temple administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) for bringing out its 12-sheet Callander for the year 2016 with beautiful images of Lord.

After having darshan of Lord Venkateswara in Tirumala temple on Thursday, he was presented the new year calendar and diary published by TTD. While going through the images of each month, the Governor poured in his praises saying the lay out and designing of the calendar has come out well.

Earlier he was accorded a traditional welcome with “Isthikaphal” honours on his arrival at Mahadwaram. Later he had darshan of Lord Venkateswara. After darshan he was presented with teertha prasadams and diary-calendar by TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao and Tirumala Jeo Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju.

Before paying visit to Tirumala shrine to offer prayers, the Governor offered prayers in Sri Bhuvarahaswamy temple and to Swamy Pushkarini following the temple tradition.
