TTD’S ANNAPRASADAM FOR PATIENTS’ ATTENDANTS COMMENCES IN TIRUPATI HOSPITALS

Tirupati, 16 Oct. 14; The free food serving activity of Annaprasadam to the attendants of patients who are undergoing medication in Tirupati hospitals commenced by TTD on Thursday in Tirupati.

Tirupati Legislator Sri M Venkatramana took part in the launch of this programme along with TTD Annaprasadam Deputy EO Sri Venugopal. Addressing the occasion, the MLA said, following the instructions of Honourable AP CM Sri N Chandrababu Naidu, several service oriented programmes have been taken up with the support of TTD and this noble gesture of providing free and qualitative food to the attendants of patients is one among them. “Several thousands of people hailing from neighbouring districts, especially those who are economically backward are undergoing medication in the hospitals in Tirupati. This free food will be a boon to them”, he added.

Meanwhile Sri Venugopal said, as per the directions of TTD EO Sri MG Gopal, the annaprasadam activity commenced in the hospitals of Ruia, SVIMS, BIRRD and Maternity. “Every day sambar rice and curd rice will be served to nearly 6000 attendants of patients with 3000 each at afternoon and night”, he maintained.
SVIMS Director Dr Vengamma, BIRRD Director Dr Jagdeesh, Ruia Superintendent Dr Veeraswamy and Maternity Superintendent Dr Bhavani also took part on this occasion.
