“TTD’s ANNAPRASADAM IS THE BEST CHARITY IN THE WORLD”-CHAIRMAN

TIRUMALA, MAY 4: Among the series of charitable activities taken up by TTD for the sake of multitude of visiting pilgrims, Annaprasadam is considered to be one of the best charitable acitivities in the world, said TTD Trust Board Chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy.

The TTD board chief had meals along with common pilgrims in Matrusri Tarigonda Vengamamba Annapradam Complex in Tirumala on Monday. During his interaction with the pilgrims, they expressed immense satisfaction about the free food that is being served as Annaprasadam here every day to not less than 60thousand pilgrims.

Later addressing media persons, the Chairman said, TTD has started Annaprasadam about three decades ago and today it has become a massive charitable activity serving lakhs of pilgrims who throng the hill town for the darshan of Lord Venkateswara in a year. “On any given day, the Annaprasadam is being offered to not less than 50thousand pilgrims without compromising on its quality and quantity. The menu is very tasty and is prepared in a hygienic environment”, he added.

The Chairman also said, there is no dearth of funds to Annaprasadam Trust as donors have made huge donations and are willing to make largessee. In future we develop this wing to further heights to reach more number of pilgrims”, he maintained.

“I compliment TTD management, staffs and srivari seva volunteers for their impeccable services to the pilgrims through this charitable activity”, he maintained.
