TTD’s RAIN HAVOC LOSS TOUCH Rs 4 CRORE _ భారీ వర్షాలతో టీటీడీ కి రూ 4 కోట్లకు పైగా నష్టం

Tirumala,20, November 2021: TTD Chairman Sri YV Subba Reddy said on Saturday that for the first time in 30 years the Tirumala and Tirupati received unprecedented torrential rainfall between November 17-19, inundating low lying areas and causing huge loss of Rs. 4 crores to TTD.
He said the heavy downpour led to the bursting of check dams and other water bodies in the Sheshachala hill ranges leading to waterlogging in Tirupati town as a huge quantum of rainwater gushed out of Kapilatheertha outlet.
He said TTD properties losses were about Rs.4 crores due to rain havoc. Prominent among them were damage to the retainer wall at Akkagarla temple on first Ghat road, landslides at four locations on first Ghat road and 13 locations besides damages to protective retainer walls on the second Ghat road.
He said the TTD engineering staff on a war footing removed the debris and took other protective measures to revive the vehicular traffic.
He said three rooms of Narayanagiri rest house were damaged following the collapse of the retainer wall and TTD officials shifted guest devotees of Narayanagiri and SV guest house to safer places.
He said there was damage to the footpath and steps path of Srivari Mettu.
He said damages were reported at the back wall of the TTD administrative building and compound walls of several TTD quartets colonies. Damage to mandapam at Kapilatheertha was officially assessed at Rs 70 lakhs, he said.
He said the TTD IT department worked swiftly to revived the TTD servers damaged due to rain havoc and ensured foolproof services to devotees.
TTD chairman said TTD has provided shelter and Anna Prasadam to all devotees stranded by rains at several rest houses (Srinivasam, Madhavam) and 2&3 choultries.
He said TTD has decided to permit all devotees for Srivari Darshan, to whoever they missed due for rainfall.
The chairman said TTD will undertake repairs of all roads etc. in Tirupati and Tirumala on war footing to facilitate quicker movement of devotees for Srivari Darshan.

తిరుమల 20 నవంబరు 2021: నవంబరు 17 నుంచి 19 వ తేదీ వరకు తిరుమల, తిరుపతి లో కురిసిన వర్షాలు గత 30 సంవత్సరాల్లో ఎప్పుడూ కురవలేదని టీటీడీ చైర్మన్ శ్రీ వైవి సుబ్బారెడ్డి శనివారం ఒక ప్రకటన లో తెలిపారు.
ఈ భారీ వర్షాలకు శేషాచలం కొండల్లోని డ్యాములు, చెక్ డ్యామ్ లు పొంగి పొర్లి కపిల తీర్థం జలపాతం గుండా తిరుపతి నగరంలోని పలు ప్రాంతాలను ముంపునకు గురి చేశాయని ఆయన తెలిపారు. వర్షాల వల్ల తిరుమల లో రూ 4 కోట్లకు పైగా ఆస్తి నష్టం జరిగిందని శ్రీ సుబ్బారెడ్డి తెలిపారు.
మొదటి ఘాట్ రోడ్ లోని అక్కగార్ల గుడి వద్ద రక్షణ గోడ దెబ్బతిని, ఘాట్ రోడ్ లో నాలుగు ప్రాంతాల్లో కొండ చరియలు విరిగిపడ్డాయన్నారు. టిటిడి సిబ్బంది, అధికారులు యుద్ధ ప్రాతిపదికన రంగంలోకి దిగి వీటిని తొలగింప చేసి తాత్కాలిక రక్షణ ఏర్పాట్లతో ట్రాఫిక్ ను పునరుద్ధరించారని ఆయన చెప్పారు.
రెండవ ఘాట్ రోడ్లో 13 ప్రాంతాల్లో కొండచరియలు విరిగి పడ్డాయని తెలిపారు. ఐదు ప్రాంతాల్లో రక్షణ గోడలు దెబ్బతిన్నాయన్నారు. టీటీడీ అధికారులు, సిబ్బంది ఈ ఘాట్ రోడ్డులో కూడా కొండ చరియలను తొలగించి ట్రాఫిక్ ను పునరుద్ధరించారని చెప్పారు.
తిరుమల నారాయణగిరి గెస్ట్ హౌస్ ను ఆనుకొని ఉన్న రక్షణ గోడ పడిపోవడంతో మూడు గదులు దెబ్బతిన్నాయన్నారు. అధికారులు నారాయణ గిరి, ఎస్వీ అతిథి గృహాల్లోని యాత్రికులను ముందు జాగ్రత్త గా ఇతర ప్రాంతాలకు తరలించారని చైర్మన్ వివరించారు.
శ్రీవారి మెట్టు మార్గంలో కొంతమేరకు రోడ్డు, కొంతమేరకు ఫుట్ పాత్ భారీ వర్షాలకు దెబ్బతిన్నాయన్నారు.
తిరుపతిలోని టీటీడీ పరిపాలన భవనం వెనుక వైపు ఉన్న గోడ తో పాటు, రాంనగర్, వినాయక నగర్, జి ఎంబి క్వార్టర్స్, శ్రీనివాసం విశ్రాంతి గృహం కాంపౌండ్ వాల్స్ దెబ్బ తిన్నట్లు ఆయన తెలిపారు.
కపిలతీర్థం ఆలయంలో ఒక మండపం వర్షాలకు దెబ్బతిందని, దీని మరమ్మతులకు 70 లక్షల రూపాయలు ఖర్చు కావచ్చని అధికారులు అంచనా వేశారన్నారు.
వర్షం వల్ల టీటీడీ సర్వర్లు దెబ్బతిని సేవలకు అంతరాయం కలిగిందన్నారు. ఐటి విభాగం అధికారులు, సిబ్బంది వెంటనే పునరుద్ధరించి భక్తుల సేవలకు ఇబ్బంది లేకుండా చేశారని ఆయన చెప్పారు.
స్వామివారి దర్శనం కోసం వచ్చి భారీ వర్షాల కారణంగా తిరుపతిలో ఆగిపోయిన భక్తులకు శ్రీనివాసం, మాధవం, రెండు మరియు మూడో సత్రాల్లో వసతి, ఆహారం ఏర్పాటు చేశామన్నారు.
టికెట్లు ఉండి దర్శనానికి రాలేక పోయిన భక్తులను వర్షాలు తగ్గాక స్వామివారి దర్శనానికి అనుమతించాలని నిర్ణయం తీసుకున్నామని శ్రీ సుబ్బారెడ్డి చెప్పారు.
తిరుమల ,తిరుపతిలో దెబ్బతిన్న రోడ్లు, ఇతర మరమ్మతులు యుద్ధ ప్రాతిపదికన పూర్తి చేసి యాత్రికులకు ఎలాంటి ఇబ్బంది లేకుండా చర్యలు తీసుకుంటామని ఆయన తెలిపారు.
