TWIN AMBULANCES DONATED TO TTD

Tirumala, 29 November 2015: Kolkata based donor Sri Prakash Chowdary has donated two ambulances worth around Rs.30 lakhs to TTD and handed over them to Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju in Tirumala on Sunday.

Speaking on this occasion, the JEO said, the donor has come out with this largesse in memory of late Sri Ramesh(Potu Ramesh) who rendered impeccable service in the last two and a half decades in additional potu in Tirumala and passed away recently following a sudden cardiac arrest.

“These vehicles will be utilised to serve the pilgrims during emergencies. The cost of each vehicle is about Rs.15 lakhs”, he added.

Later he handed over the keys to Transport GM Sri Sesha Reddy. Temple Deputy EO Sri C Ramana, family members of Sri Potu Ramesh and others were also present.
