UGADI ASTHANAM in Sri Vari Temple

Tirumala, 16 March 2010: Splendour and gaiety marked `Ugadi’ festival at the hill temple of Lord Venkateswara, Tirumala on March 16.

Special rituals like – visesha padi procession and visesha nuthana vastrams procession was performed inside the Vimana prakaram of the temple complex followed by the auspicious `Panchanga Sravanam’ to the processional deities of Lord Malayapa and his consorts atop Sarvabhoopala Vahanam in Bangaru vakili, in front of the presiding deity, by the temple priests.

TTD Chairman Sri D.K.Audikesavulu, Spl Officer Sri A.V.Dharma Reddy, TTD C.V&S.O Sri M.K.Singh, Temple DyE.O Sri Gopalakrishna, Sri Umapathy, Dist Supdt of Police Sri Lakshmi Reddy, Dist and TTD officials took part.
