VASANTHOTSAVAM IN SRI PADMAVATHI AMMAVARI TEMPLE FROM MAY 9-11

Tiruchanur, 8 May 2017: The three-day Salakatla vasanthotsavam will be observed in the famous shrine of Sri Padmavathi Ammavari temple in Tiruchanoor from May 9-11. In this connection Ankurarpanam was performed on Monday evening.

On the second day of Vasanthotsavam on May 10, Swarnarathotsavam will be performed at 8:15am in four made streets. While in the evening the Goddess will take celestial ride on Golden Tiruchi (Palanquin) between 7:30pm to 8:30pm

The Grihastas (devotees) who are willing to take part in this fete should pay Rs.150 per ticket. They will be presented with one laddu and a vada

The temple authorities have cancelled arjitha (daily) sevas including Kalyanotsavam, Unjal Seva on these three day. While on last day on Thursday, Tiruppavada Seva-the weekly Seva was also cancelled in connection with this three day annual festival.
