VEDIC PROPAGATION IS ONE OF OUR TOP MOST PRIORITIES-EO

Tirupati, 9 March 2017: To sustain the glory of vedic knowledge and to take forward its legacy for future generations, TTD is committed towards the propagation and protection of Vedas, asserted TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.

A review meeting was held on SV Veda Parirakshana Trust in the chambers of TTD EO in TTD administrative building in Tirupati on Thursday. Speaking on this occasion, the EO said, TTD is spending over 50 crores towards the propagation and promotion of vedic studies. “So far the trust has received Rs.33crores in the form of donations and the donors will get tax exemption as per the norms. Under this trust over 1150 vedaparayanamdars are rendering veda parayanam. They are being sent to render vedic recitation for three days in a month in all the TTD kalyanamandapams and temples present across the country by dividing them into 25 clusters. Even 1000 students are also undergoing vedic studies. After the completion of their courses they are also being given stipend”, the EO said.

The EO also said that even those who are studying vedas on private can also join TTD vedic institutions. He said the syllabus in veda pathashalas will be designed with the help of vedic varsity of TTD.

JEOs Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Sri P Bhaskar, SO Sri Muktheswara Rao, Vedic varsity VC Sri KE Devanathan, Additional FACAO Sri Balaji, Estates Officer Sri Vijaya Saradhi, SV Vedadyayana Institution AEO Sri Govindarajulu, Veda Vigyana Samsthan of Dharmagiri Principal Sri KSS Avadhani were also present.
