VENKANNA IN SRI KRISHNA AVATAR RECEIVES PUSHKARA HARATHI

Vijayawada, 17 Aug. 16: The procession of Sri Malayappa Swamy adorned as Sri Krishna reached the padmavati ghat to receive the Pushkara Harati.

The TTD has set up the model Srivari temple at Vijayawada PWD grounds for benefit of devotees of Krishna Pushkarams.

The bhajan troupes, kolata teams and Kerala drums preceded the colorful Shobha Yatra of Sri Malayappa swamy on way to the Padmavati ghat. Mostely crowds of devotees at various junctions offered Karpura nirajanalu on the way. Later the TTD priests presented the Pushkara harati.

Later the deity of Malayappa swamy was taken back to model srivari temple where the prestigious seva of Unjal seva was performed in a grand manner enthralling the Pushkara devotees.

Prominent among those who participated in the event were TTD Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, TTD board member Sri Putta Sudhakar Yadav, SE Sri Sudhakar Rao and OSD Sri Dollar Seshadri.
