VENKATESWARA VAIBHAVAMS TO BECOME NATIONAL FETE-TIRUPATI JEO
Vizag, 28 July 2014: After receiving the immense response for the Week-long Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams which are set to conclude on Tuesday in the city of Vizag, TTD has decided to perform this programme as a national religious event, said Tirupati JEO Sri Pola Bhaskar.
Thanking the denizens of Vizag for their zeal to take part in the maiden spiritual programme mulled by TTD and also the media persons for their excellent range of coverage, the JEO held a press briefing in Swarna Bharathi Auditorium on Monday evneing. He said the programme has been a huge success and especially the crowd turnout for Pushpayagam and Srinivasa Kalyanam is unimaginary. “So we have decided to conclude our week-long programme on Tuesday with Srinivasa Kalyanam. We appeal the denizens of Visakha who already witnessed the seva on Sunday to give an opportunity for those who could not able to make it out earlier”.
He said, the chief motto of TTD is to propagate, promote, preserve and protect Hindu Sanatana Dharma and hence organising unique programmes to instill and enhance the spiritual zeal among the masses especially in the youth.
“We have chalked out a plan to organise the Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams across the states of AP and Telengana and later across the country. But to finish this programme in the districts of AP itself may take nearly three years”, he added. He specially thanked renowned scholar Brahmasri Chaganti Koteswara Rao for elaborating on each and every seva that are being performed during the past one week.
Later the JEO, Sri Koteswara Rao released the posters and handouts of Managudi. Elaborating on the importance of Managudi, Sri Koteswara Rao said, TTD and AP Endowments department have jointly taken up the spiritual mission of Managudi across the state. “So far four phases have been completed and they are set ready to conduct the fifth phase across 52000 temples in the states of AP and Telengana on August 10, on the auspicious occasion of Shravana Pournami.
The scholar futher said, on August 8, there will temple premises(outside)purification programme, on August 9, the premises and puja utensils inside the temple will be cleansed and on August 10 as a part of Managudi there will be “Rama Koti” rachana and all the Ramakoti books will be collected and preserved in Sri Rama Stupa located at Sri Ramachandra Pushkarini in Tirupati”, he added.
Srinivasa Kalyanotsavam Project officer Sri Ramachandra Reddy, HDPP Special Officer Sri Sriram Raghunath and others were also present.
SWARNA BHARATHI GLITTERS DIVINE LIGHT OF SD SEVA
Vizag, 28 July 2014: On Monday evening, the devotees had a rare spectacle to witness the Lord Malayappa Swamy in the guise of Lord Sri Krishna swaying in the Unjal seva amidst the glitters of 1008 ghee lit lamps.
Monday being the asterism of Rohini Nakshatra, Lord Sri Krishna was seated in the finely decked unjal along with His two consorts Sri Rukmini and Sri Satyabhama and unjal seva is performed.
The artistes of Dasa Sahitya and Annamacharya projects rendered the keertans in melody.
Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar, Brahmasri Chaganti Koteswara Rao and others were also present.
