VENKATESWARA VAIBHAVOTSAVAMS CONCLUDES WITH SRINIVASA KALYANAM
Vizag, 29 July 2014: The massive Swarna Bharathi Auditorium witnessed a sea of humanity on the final day of Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams on Tuesday evening for Srinivasa Kalyanam.
Following the huge response to the various rituals that are being performed to the replica statue of Lord Venkateswara here, TTD has decided to perform the celestial wedding of Srinivasa Kalyanams again on Tuesday evening.
With Tuesday being a holiday as well with the holy advent of Mangala Gowri Vratam day, there was a huge turn out of crowds for the divine marriage.
The marriage began with Punyaha Vachanam followed by Visvaksena Aradhana, Ankurarpana, Pratisara Bandhana, Agnipratishta, Vastra Samarpana, Maha Sankalpam, Kanyadanam, Mangalya Dharana, Varanamayiram and Arti.
The denizens of Visakha were thrilled to see the divine beauty of the deities in this most important ritual and the entire premises echoed with Govinda Namas.
On Tuesday around 50thousand denizens thronged to witnessedthe celestial marriage of Lord. The seven day religious event has witnessed over eight lakhs people and annaprasadams have been served to almost all of them on a continuous basis by TTD.
Vizag Dist Collector Dr N.Yuvaraj, TTD Joint Executive Officer Sri Pola Bhaskar, Municipal Commissioner Sri Sathyanarayana, ACP Sri Mahesh, HDPP Executive Committee Member Sri Anjaneya Raju and others took part.
