1500 BENEFICIARIES UNDER VEDA PARAYANAM SCHEME TO TAKE PART
Tirupati, 11 January 2016: The temple management is contemplating to hold Visesha Veda Parayanam on January 24 in Tirumala with 1500 Veda Parayanamdars who are registered under the TTD Veda Parayana Scheme on the auspicious occasion of Pournami Garuda Seva.
Reviewing with the senior officers in his chambers in TTD administrative building at Tirupati on Monday, the TTD EO Dr D Samba Siva Rao directed the concerned officials to come out with an action plan to execute the programme effectively on this occasion.
Later he instructed the SVBC officials to see that the Sankranti programmes are more appealing and effective and especially the Go puja planned in the two Telugu speaking states reach many viewers across the globe on January 16.
The EO instructed the concerned to form a Committee to supervise the execution of various works under the Engineering wing and submit a report to the Chief Engineer on the progress of work.
“All the pending works in Vishnu Nivasam, Madhavam and Srinivasam should be completed. The vacancies of rooms should be displayed on the boards for the information of pilgrims and the waiting time in getting accommodation should be reduced”, he added.
The EO also directed the engineering officials to complete the development works in taken over temples in Upamaka, Amaravathi and Vontimitta with a concrete action plan.
Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar, All Projects Special Officer Sri N Muktheswara Rao, Additional FACAO Sri O Balaji, Chief Engineer Sri Chandra Sekhar Reddy, other senior officers were also present.
