VONTIMITTA FETE IS GOING TO BE THE FIRST OFFICIAL HISTORICAL EVENT OF AP-TTD TRUST BOARD CHAIRMAN

Vontimitta, 3 April 2016: Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam in Vontimitta is going to be performed as a “never seen before event with grandeur” and is going to the first official event after the formation of the state of Andhra Pradesh said TTD Chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy.

After the release of the pamphlets and booklets regarding the Vontimitta annual Brahmotsavams and Kalyanam, the trust board chief of TTD along with Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar on Sunday told media persons here that after state separation this is going to be the major event in the state of AP. “The Brahmotsavams and Kalyanam is going to be historical one as the honourable AP CM Sri N Chandrababu Naidu has taken it in a prestigious way. Vontimitta is sure to become one of e most sought after pilgrim centres after TTD has taken over this ancient temple”, he added.

Later Tirupati JEO Sri Bhaskar said, the Brahmotsavams and other special events will be from April 14 to April 24 including Sriramanavami on April 15, Hanumatseva on April 18, Sri sitarama Kalyanam on April 20, Rathotsavam on April 21. “TTD is making elaborate arrangements for the fete and the devotees are invited to take part in this fest in a big way”, he maintained.

INSPECTS ONGOING WORKS:

Later the TTD chairman along with local legislator SriMeda Mallikarjuna Reddy and JEO Sri P Bhaskar inspected the site where the construction of Kalyana Mandapam stage adjacent to Vontimitta temple. SE Sri Sudhakar Rao, EE Sri Krishna Reddy, DyEOs Sri Veerabrahmam, Sri Balaji and other officers were also present.
