“WIDE SPREAD DHARMA PRACHARA THROUGH TTD MEDIA”-EO

TIRUPATI, OCTOBER 3: TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao on Saturday directed the officials of TTD to take up Hindu Dharma Prachara in a wide spread manner making the best use of TTD media including TTD-run SVBC channel, TTD FM, Sapthagiri magazine and PR wing.

Reviewing with various department heads in his chambers in TTD Administrative Building he instructed the Sapthagiri Chief Editor Sri Saila Kumar to enhance the layout, pagination, cover design and pages in more attractive manner including the content. “Bring all the pages in colour and include the discourses by famous spiritual personalities, eminent scholars, artistes, pontiffs etc. in the columns. Utilise the services of the staff members and students in Sri Venkateswara Institute of Traditional Sculpture and Architecture (SVITSA) in layout and designing of the magazine. There is need to enhance quality of input in English version of Sapthagiri”, he observed.

Later he directed the SVBC officials to see that the channel telecast the discourses of renowned Swamijis of respective states. “The commentary in English during Brahmotsava Vahana Seva should be more informative and qualitative. SV FM Radio programmes should also be better used for Dharma Prachara. Include the socio-religious-medical activities of TTD in your programmes. Invite the speakers from service organisations like Sri Ramakrishna Mutt etc. and relay speeches on human values, character building etc. to educate and enlighten the youth of today”, he added.
