TIRUMALA, SEPT.15: TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao while complimenting the services of TTd Vigilance and Security sleuths termed them as the representatives of the Chief Commander of Lord Venkateswara, Sri Visvaksena.

Addressing the strong work force of TTD cops at Asthana Mandapam in Tirumala on Tuesday in connection with Brahmotsavams, the EO called them to showcase their abilities discharging their duties as per their job chart without any compromise during the twin Brahmotsavams. “In fact you are all representing on Behalf of Sri Visvaksena and your prime duty is to guard the event without any mark. Deal with the pilgrims in a smooth manner as they are not criminals. Stick to your job chart and discharge your duties without any deviation. The guards who have discharged their duties will also be felicitated after the two Brahmotsavams. Especially those who are on vigil at the entry and exit points of galleries should be more alert and showcase your efficiency in pilgrim crowd management”, he added

Earlier in his address, the Tirumala Jeo Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju said, you are all well trained in pilgrim crowd management. But you all should be alert always. Though we may think that Srivari annual Brahmotsavams might witness comparatively less pilgrim influx, as Garuda Seva is falling on Sunday coupled with the commencement of Purttasi month, auspicious for Tamilians from this Saturday, we should not take any chances”, he observed.

TTD CVSO Sri G Nagendra Kumar presided over the meeting. He said about 42 sleuths have been deployed at 29 entry and 13 exit points giving special training.

Later AVSO Sector I Sri Sai Giridhar explained to EO and JEO about the preparatory measures taken by the wing for Brahmotsavams. The vigilance sleuths have been designated at various points with display cards including VAIDIKA Haram, Special Melam, Bhajan Parties, Prabandha Ghosti etc. so as to direct the concerned artistes to their respective destinations without any confusion. Similarly the various entry points for police, press, VIPs etc. to their designated galleries have also been marked. Later mock drill was performed. Rope parties have also been designated with white, red, green colours and rear parties to ease the management in front of Vahanam during procession.

Additional CVSO Sri Sivakumar Reddy, VGOs Smt Vimala Kumari, Sri Ravinder Reddy, AVSOs of all sectors, VIs, vigilance and security sleuths were also present.
