“YOUR SERVICES TO PILGRIMS ARE MORE PIOUS THAN HOLY DIP IN GODAVARI”-TIRUMALA JEO

TIRUPATI, JULY 19: Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju called upon the TTD staff who have been deputed to offer dedicated services to multitude of visiting pilgrims during Godavari Maha Pushkaram 2015 in Rajamundry which is slated to commence from July 14 to July 25. “Rendering services to pilgrims is more virtuous than having Pushkara Snanam”, he asserted.

In a meeting held with all the deputed officials and staff members of TTD in SVETA bhavan in Tirupati on Friday, the JEO said, the 12 religious event is going to be a prestigious one as it is considered to be the first mega spiritual activity in Navyandhra Pradesh. “The replica temple of Lord Venkateswara which was constructed by TTD in Municipal Grounds is going to be the major centre of attraction during Pushkaram as tens of thousands of pilgrims are expected to visit the temple after taking holy dip in River Godavari”, he added.
