“YOUTH SHOULD BE MOTIVATED TO PARTICIPATE IN SRIVARI SEVA”-TTD JEO

TIRUMALA, MAY 9:  Srivari Seva is the best way to lead a righteous life by serving the fellow pilgrims without any selfish goals and youth should be motivated to take part in this voluntary service in a big way, said TTD JEO Tirupati (In-charge Tirumala) Sri P Bhaskar.

Addressing the Srivari Seva meeting at Asthana Mandapam in Tirumala on Friday, the JEO strongly felt that the degeneration of human values is a big threat to the entire humanity. “During this high time, it is the voluntary services like Srivari Seva which not only boosts up our morale but also help us to build a value-based socieity’, he added.

He appealed to the huge gathering of Srivari Sevakulu to motivate their children to take part in this great service that is being provided by TTD. “In Kaliyuga Service is the only where one can appease God and attain Salvation. Our country has over 40% of youth population and we need to make use of this youth power by motivating them to take part in service schemes like Srivari Seva. This will not help them to build up their careers but also good for the entire country”, he added.

The JEO also hinted that the services of Srivari Sevakulu will be henceforth used in the activities of TTD’s Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad in their respective areas and also asked them to actively take part in the Dharma Prachara Mandalis as members.

He said to enhance and strengthen Srivari Seva TTD has decided to give the volunteers training with the priests of the temples, HODs of various user departments both in Tirupati as well in Tirumala

The meeting was presided by PRO and HOD of Srivari Seva Sri T Ravi, Health Officer Sri Venkatramana, AVSO Vigilance Sri Katamaraju, Asst.PRO cum OSD Srivari Seva Ms P Neelima, over 2000 volunteers hailing from Maharastra, Tamilnadu apart from Andhra Pradesh were also present.
