Tirupati, 20 Feb. 20: Apart from the Govinda Namas and Siva Namas, the Temple City of Tirupati reverberated to the rhythmic recitation of Saraswathi Maha Mantra on the bright sunny day on Thursday.
The pilgrim centre echoed to chorus chanting of “Om Sreem Hrim Kleem Maha Saraswatyai-Mahyam Medham Pragyam Pracha” with the tens of thousands of voices chanting the Maha Mantra during the spectacular Maha Sarawathi Yagam organized jointly by Hindu Dharma Prachara Parishad wing and Education Department of TTD in the spacious Geeta Jayanthi grounds.
Speaking on this ceremonious occasion, TTD Executive Officer Sri Anil Kumar Singhal said that TTD has launched skill development training in collaboration with the AP Skill Development corporation for students of TTD educational institutions for enhancing their job opportunities after the completion of their studies. He advised the students to develop “Stress free” education to have a happy, healthy and prosperous career in their lives ahead.
He appreciated the students for enthusiastically participating in the massive programme with devotion, dedication and discipline. “The unique feature about the students studying in TTD institutions is that your passion for Hindu Sanatana Dharma makes you special from other students. I am confident that this Maha Yagam will help you to excel in your public exams. But at the same time, I advise you all to aim at stress-free education which we used have during our times. We enjoyed our studies without feeling stress. This could be possible only when you study every day not just before exams.
The TTD EO said said even the Honourable Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi had recently focused on the state of mind of students preparing for examinations in his “Mann ki Baat” programme. He wished that the worship of Goddess Saraswati would reduce stress and prepare students to face any challenges in the examinations with courage.
TTD Trust Board Special Invitee and Tirupati MLA Sri Bhumana Karunakar Reddy said the blessings of Goddess Saraswati will enhance the mental stamina, peace and develop concentration among students. “Education is the only property which cannot be looted by anyone or any force. Education is like an ocean without any end. It enhances the ethical values and makes us to become responsible citizens of the society.
Speaking about the Maha Saraswathi Yagam, the local legislator expressed that this Yagam will energize the students physically and mentally and makes them bold enough to overcome their exam phobia.
TTD JEO Sri P Basant Kumar said TTD had brought out a booklet of 19 point booklet to assist students to improve their memory power and enhance their concentration in studies and examinations.
Later HDPP Secretary Acharya Rajagopalan, DEO Dr Ramana Prasad and SV higher Vedic studies institute Project officer Dr Akella Vibhishana Sharma also spoke on this occasion.
Srivari temple Chief Archaka Sri Venugopala Dikshitulu and Vaikhanasa Agama Adviser Sri SK Sundara Varadan, Sri Vedantam Vishnubhattacharya of Rastriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetam and Sri Sitaramacharyulu of Dharmagiri Veda pathasala supervised the yagam.
The students were taught Saraswati mantra and also Saraswati Kankanam notebooks with a pen is presented to every student in a token manner.

ముందుగా ఉద‌యం 6 గంట‌ల‌కు అనుజ్ఞ, పుణ్యాహం నిర్వ‌హించారు. ఉద‌యం 6.30 గంట‌ల‌కు స‌ర‌స్వ‌తీ దేవి ఆరాధ‌న, క‌ల‌శారాధ‌న, నివేద‌న చేప‌ట్టి 6 హోమ‌గుండాల్లో మ‌హాస‌ర‌స్వ‌తీ యాగాన్ని ప్రారంభించారు. అధికారుల సందేశాల అనంత‌రం పూర్ణాహుతి నిర్వ‌హించారు. ఈ సంద‌ర్భంగా వేద పండితులు స‌ర‌స్వ‌తి మంత్రాన్ని ఉప‌దేశించి విద్యార్థిని విద్యార్థుల చేత ప‌లికించారు. అనంత‌రం స‌ర‌స్వ‌తి కంక‌ణం, నోటు పుస్త‌కం, ఒక పెన్ను, ప్ర‌సాదాన్ని విద్యార్థుల‌కు అందించారు.
