PUSHPAYAGAM HELD IN APPALAYAGUNTA _ శ్రీ ప్రసన్న వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామివారి ఆలయంలో శాస్త్రోక్తంగా పుష్పయాగం
TIRUPATI, 25 JULY 2021: The annual Pushpayagam was held with religious fervour in a colourful manner at Appalayagunta on Sunday evening.
Earlier in the morning, Snapana Tirumanjanam was performed to the deities of Sri Prasanna Venkateswara Swamy along with Sridevi and Bhudevi.
Later in the evening, the floral bath was rendered to the deities amidst chanting of Vedic hymns between 2:30pm and 5pm.
Speaking on the occasion, TTD JEO Smt Sada Bhargavi said, this religious fete is usually performed in all TTD temples as a “Sin-free” fest to the omissions and commissions committed either knowingly or unknowingly by the religious staff, general staff and even devotees during the performance of daily rituals and other activities related to the temple.
She said, about 700 kilos of varieties of flowers have been used during the celestial fete held with religious ecstasy.
Temple DyEO Smt Kasturi Bai, AEO Sri Prabhakar Reddy, Superintendent Sri Gopalakrishna Reddy and others were also present.

శ్రీ ప్రసన్న వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామివారి ఆలయంలో శాస్త్రోక్తంగా పుష్పయాగం
తిరుపతి, 2021 జూలై 25: అప్పలాయగుంట శ్రీ ప్రసన్న వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామివారి ఆలయంలో ఆదివారం శాస్త్రోక్తంగా పుష్పయాగం జరిగింది.
ఇందులో భాగంగా ఉదయం 10.30 నుంచి 11.30 గంటల వరకు ఉభయదేవేరులతో కూడిన శ్రీ ప్రసన్న వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామివారికి స్నపన తిరుమంజనం నిర్వహించారు. ఇందులో పాలు, పెరుగు, తేనె, కొబ్బరి నీళ్లు, ప‌సుపు, చందనంల‌తో విశేషంగా అభిషేకం చేశారు.
ముందుగా పుష్పయాగం కోసం వినియోగించే పుష్పాలను ఆలయంలో మూలమూర్తి వద్ద ఉంచి ప్రత్యేక పూజలు నిర్వహించారు. ఆలయ ప్రాంగణంలో ప్రత్యేకంగా ఏర్పాటుచేసిన వేదికపై సర్వభూపాల వాహనంలో శ్రీ‌దేవి, భూదేవి సమేత శ్రీ ప్రసన్న వేంకటేశ్వరస్వామివారిని కొలువుతీర్చారు. మధ్యాహ్నం 2.30 నుండి సాయంత్రం 5 గంటల వరకు అర్చకుల వేదమంత్రోచ్ఛారణలు, మంగళవాయిద్యాల నడుమ పుష్పయాగం జరిగింది.
ఈ సందర్భంగా జెఈవో శ్రీమతి స‌దా భార్గ‌వి మాట్లాడుతూ ఆలయంలో జూన్ 19 నుండి 27వ తేదీ వరకు వరకు వార్షిక బ్రహ్మోత్సవాలు జరిగాయన్నారు. ఈ ఉత్సవాల్లో గానీ, నిత్యకైంకర్యాల్లో గానీ అర్చక పరిచారకుల వల్ల, అధికార అనధికారుల వల్ల, భక్తుల వల్ల తెలిసీ తెలియక ఏవైనా లోపాలు జరిగి ఉంటే వాటికి ప్రాయశ్చిత్తంగా పుష్పయాగం నిర్వహించడం ఆనవాయితీగా వస్తోంద‌ని చెప్పారు.
ఇందులో తులసి, మల్లి, కనకాంబరం, చామంతి, గన్నేరు, మొగలి, సంపంగి, రోజా, కలువలు వంటి 18 రకాలకు చెందిన పుష్పాలు, పత్రాలతో పుష్పయాగం నిర్వహించారన్నారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో ఆలయ డెప్యూటీ ఈవో శ్రీమతి క‌స్తూరిబాయి, ఏఈవో శ్రీ ప్ర‌భాక‌ర్‌రెడ్డి, వైఖాన‌స ఆగ‌మ స‌ల‌హాదారు శ్రీ విష్ణు బ‌ట్టాచార్యులు, కంక‌ణ బ‌ట్ట‌ర్ శ్రీ సూర్య‌కుమార్ ఆచార్యులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
