1000-PILLARMANDAPAM WORKS SOON TO COMMENCE

Tirumala, 4 March 2016: The reconstruction works of the prestigious 1000-pillar mandapam will soon be, said TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.

Briefing media on various developmental activities after dial your EO programme at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Friday he said, the new mandapam will be constructed in Narayanagiri Gardens in Tirumala.

He said the booking of performing kalyanam in Purohithasangam will soon be made online. The SMS of cottage revenue will be sent to donor of cottages for their information.

Later he said the Durmukhinama Samvatsara Ugadi panchangam has been release in the market and available in Tirupati, Tirumala and other TTD publications across the state. The price of the almanac book is Rs.50.

The All Projects Special Officer Sri N Muktheswara Rao said that after training the students f SV Balamandir in Srinivasa Gadyam, Suryastakam, Aditya Hrudayam, now they will be trained in Nama Ramayanam for the upcoming festival of Sri Ramanavami on April 15.

He said they will also be trained in Bhajana Kolatam to perform during festivities, as this traditional art will be useful for the students to develop physically.
