TTD RELEASES 50K ARJITHA SEVA TICKETS ONLINE FOR THE MONTH OF APRIL

TIRUMALA,MARCH 4: With the introduction of on-line booking of Rs.300 and arjitha Seva tickets, the pilgrims from Norther and Eastern belts of the country have increased by many folds in the recent times”, stated TTD EO Dr D Samba Siva Rao.

Addressing the Dial Your EO programme at Annamaiah Bhavan on Friday in Tirumala, the EO received about 15 calls from pilgrims callers across the country including Bangalore, Surat and Mandhya Pradesh apart from Telugu speaking states.

WORLD WIDE PILGRIMS ARE THANKFUL TO TTD

Answering a pilgrim caller Sri Swamy Balakrishna from MP, who thanked the TTD for making elaborate arrangements of Darshan, accommodation, laddu and annaprasadams to multitude of visiting pilgrims from the past several decades. “In fact we are all indebted to you. The temple of Lord Venkateswara has been attracting pilgrims from the past 25 centuries as the most sought after pilgrim centre of the world”,he poured in accolades on TTD.

RO PLANT IN AYUR HOSPITAL

Over the suggestion made by the pilgrim caller from MP to enhance facilities to patients in TTD-run Ayurvedic hospital in Tirupati, the EO said, very soon the issues in the hospital will be reviewed with the hospital superintendent. “In a few days time we will setup Jalaprasadam unit in the hospital for patients. We will also see that all the beds in the hospital be provided to the patients as per their necessity. The hygiene of toilets will also be taken care of in the hospital premises”, he assured.

MOTIVATE AND SEND SEVAKULU

The EO also appealed to the like minded spiritual or service offering persons to train and send people who are willing to render service to fellow pilgrims in North and East parts of India by properly training them in pilgrim service. “There is some communication problem to volunteers and pilgrims from these parts. But we can over come this language problem”, EO observed.

PLEASE PERFORM SRINIVASA KALYANAM IN GUJRAT

Over the appeal by Sri Satish, a pilgrim caller from Surat, who appealed to EO that as there are over five lakhs telugus residing in Gujrat, perform Srinivasa kalyanam, to which EO said, if the sponsors from that area come forward, we are ready to perform the celestial marriages as per the norms.

MIKE SETS TO REMOTE AREAS

Answering a pilgrim caller Sri Raghavendra from Kuppam, the EO said, Mike sets will be provided to the bhajan mandirs which are doing extraordinary devotional services in their areas. The EO appreciated the devotee for spending his week off in training the students in Govinda Nama, bhajan said etc.

ENHANCE THE BRIGHTNESS OF GHEE LITLAMP

A pilgrim caller Sri Yadagiri from Secunderabad requested the EO that he has observed that the ghee lit lamps are appearing very dim inside sanctum sanctorum, to which the EO suggested appropriate measures will be taken.

PLAN TO OFFER LADDUS TO AGED AND PHC IN THEIR QUEUE ITSELF

To yet another suggestion made by Sri Yadagiri, the EO said, the management will definitely see that the pilgrims belonging to the category of physically handicapped and aged will get laddus in their line itself.

Tirumala jeo Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju and other senior officers were also present.
