150 MEDICAL STAFF DEPUTED FOR SERVICE ON GARUDA SEVA DAY- TTD CM DR VIKAS

Tirumala,4 October 2016: TTD has deputed over 150 medical staff including 35 doctors and 57 para medical doctors for service on Garuda Seva Day-October 7th, says Dr N Vikas, chief medical officer of TTD.

Speaking to reporters at Media Centre on Tuesday, Dr Vikas said that in all 5 first aid centers, 5 dispensaries and additional 30 beds at Ashwini hospital have been arranged for sake of Brahmotsavams and the crucial Garuda Seva Day by deputing medical officers from SVIMS, BIRRD and District health units. He said Special care is taken to ensure all night medicare to the trekking devotees.

He said the TTD has made elaborate arrangements for providing full scale medical facilities for devotees including provision of blood and surgeries wherever needed and ensure that there is no serious threat to life during the Brahmotsavam, particularly on Garuda Seva Day.
