SPECIAL DELICACIES TO DEVOTEES ON G-DAY

Tirumala, 4 October 2016: TTD is fully poised to provide food, water and hot beverages to the devotees who throng the holy hill shrine of Tirumala for the Garuda Seva on October 7th on a 24×7 basis.

Addressing media at the media centre the TTD Special officer of Annadanam Smt Chenchu lakshmi said that hot and delicious delicacies inclusing Bisibela bath, sambar bath and curd rice besides butter milk, milk for children will be provided twice from 12.00pm to 5.00 pm to devotees at the galleries of south Mada Street and also all over Tirumala. ‘We are readying three lakh sachets of butter milk for distribution on Garuda Seva day”, she said .

Adding further she said butter milk will be supplied to children in the vaikuntam queue complex on a 24×7 basis and nearly 10,000 staff, police, scouts and guides and srivari sevaks will be provided food at the employees canteen through out the day.

On October 3rd, nearly 1.60 lakh persons were provided meals and 75,000
were given coffee, tea, milk at the Tarigonda Vengamamba Anna Prasadam complex. “A special food distribution outlet is being set up near the CRO for devotees benefit”, she added.
