ETHICAL AWARENESS AMONG STUDENTS IS NEED OF HOUR-ALL PROJECTS SPECIAL OFFICER

Tirupati, 29 August 2016: The students should be enlightened on ethical and dharmic values to become good citizens of the country and serve the nation in true spirit, said TTD All Projects Special Officer Sri N Muktheswara Rao.

During the 33rd Anniversary of Epic Studies Exams held at Annamacharya Kalamandiram in Tirupati on Monday, addressing the students and parents, he said in future mere theoretical knowledge will not help the students to take up career even in over seas. “You should master in fine arts, Sanskrit, yoga and dharmic values also as the world is looking at us”, he added.

Later TTD Public Relations Officer Dr T Ravi said, in olden days in combined families, grand mothers and grand fathers used to teach the children on ethical and dharmic values in the form of fables, stories, Padyam etc. “Today the entire focus to bring the children in righteous path depends on teachers, as the students spend more time in schools”, he observed.

Epic studies officer Sri Damodara Naidu said, the exams have been receiving huge reception from students from the past three decades.

CHITTOOR GIRL TOPS DHARMA PARICHAYA:

Meanwhile among the Dharma Parichaya exam held for class 6 and 7 students, Chittoor district girl Manasa topped the results while Muneswari of Mehaboobnagar and Sravani of Krishna in next two places respectively in state level.

SRIKAKUKAM BOY TOPS DHARMA PRAVESHIKA:

On the other hand in Dharma Praveshika exam held for class 8, 9 and 10 students, Srikakulam boy Durga Prasad topped the ranks followed by Sai Preeti of Adilabad and Priyanka of Tirupati stood second and third places at state level.

In district level, in Dharma Parichaya exams, Habibunnissa of Chittoor, Jyotsna of Penumuru and Gnanadeep of Tirupati stood in first three places while in Dharma Praveshika, Sushmita of Ramakuppam, Lokesh Singh of Tirupati and Janardhana Rao of SR Puram topped the ranks in first three places.

The first three toppers in state level were presented with Rs.4000, Rs.3000, Rs.2000 respectively along with five grams gold dollar. For those who topped in district level, the first place winners were awarded with Rs.1000, Rs.750 and Rs.500 respectively along with five grams silver dollar.

Apart from the Telugu states, Chennai students who topped in the exams were also presented the awards.
