SRI KAPILESWARA SWAMY FETE BEGINS

Tirupati, 16 February 2017: The annual brahmotsavams in the famous temple of Lord Shiva in Sri Kapila Teertham in Tirupati has taken off on a religious note with Dhwajarohanam on Friday.

The sacred Nandi Dhwaja Patham has been hoisted on to the temple pillar at the sacred scheduled time in 8.28am in Meena Lagnam. This celestial fete took place in the presence of the Utsava Murthies including Sri Soma Skandamurthi, Sri Kamakshmi Ammavaru, Sri Chandikeswara Swamy Sri Vinayaka Swamy, Valli Devasena Sametha Sri Subramanya Swamy in a ceremonial manner.

The vedic pundits rendered Vrishabha Stuti, Siva Stuti and Phala Stuti during the religious ceremony of sacred flag hoisting over temple pillar.

TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao, JEO Sri Pola Bhaskar, Temple DyEO Sri Subramanyam, Suptd Sri Obul Reddy, Temple Inspectors Sri K Narayana, Sri Muralikrishna, AVSO Sri Raju and others took part.
