ENAHNCED SERVICES TO PILGRIMS WITH IT-TTD EO

Tirumala, 17 February 2017: The temple management of TTD is committed to utilise Information Technology in the best possible way to give transparent services to pilgrims, said, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao.

The Chairman of TATA Sons Sri Natarajan Chandrasekharan visited Tirumala temple and offered prayers to Lord Venkateswara on Friday. After darshan, the veda pundits offered him Vedasirvachanam in Ranganayakula Mandapam. The EO offered him the silk vastram, prasadams of Lord and lamination photo.

Speaking on this occasion, the EO said, the IT tycoons like, TCS, HCL have been offering great services to TTD as a part of their corporate social responsibility. “Today we are providing online services in darshan, accommodation, laddu prasadam etc. in a transparent manner, best utilising the IT services. We want to take this to further levels in future”, he added.

The TATA Sons Chairman, Sri Natarajan Chandrasekharan said, it is great to see technology lead transformation in TTD in providing transparent and speedy services to pilgrims under the strategic direction of TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao. “It is indeed a privilege for us to be a part in this journey in offering services to pilgrims along with TTD and looking forward for more services”, he maintained.
