5th PHASE KALYANAMASTHU AWARENESS PROGRAMME _ 5వ విడత కల్యాణమస్తు కార్యక్రమముపై అవగాహనా సదస్సులు
Nellore, 13 October 2009: The TTDs Kalyanamasthu awareness programmes were held at all the District Head Quarters of Andhra Pradesh except the flood-affected four districts on October 13. On October 13 morning the awareness programme conducted by the District Administration at Kasthuriba Kalashekthram, Nellore got good response from the public.
While addressing the huge gathering Sri I.Y.R.Krishna Rao, Executive Officer, TTDs appealed the public to encourage the youth to have wedlock in the auspicious Kalyanamasthu programme. He requested the district administration to bring awareness on Kalyanamasthu programme into grass root level. As there is very short time for muhurtham on October 28, he requested the collector to use his sources such as village level secretaries, panchayat raj and education departments, women and child welfare, anganwadies, social welfare and other departments to involve in this programme. The Indian marriage system is flourishing based on sanathana vaidika dharma he added.
The Executive Officer said the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams would provide Gold Mangalasuthram, Silver Mettelu. New Clothes to the bride and bride grooms and wedding feast to the relations of new couple on free of cost. The Executive Officer also informed that the fifth phase of Kalyanamasthu would be conducted on October 28th between 9-20AM and 9-32AM in dhanista star of Vrishika lagnam. The interested and eligible youth can fill in application with relevant details and send them to MRO, MDO, and TTD Kalyanamandapam Offices before October 21st 2009. he also explained other programmes taken up by TTD.
The District Collector Sri Ramgopal explained the district administration about the Kalyanamasthu programme details and requested the district officials to motivate the public to get more number of people benefited in this programme.
MLAs Sri Durga Prasad, Sri Sridhar Reddy, Z.P.Chairman Sri K.Goverdhan Reddy appealed the women sarpanches, media to give more publicity by word of mouth, thro various media channels to bring awareness among the public on these mass marriages.
Addl Supdt of Police Sri Kanaka Rao, DRO Sri Jayaramaiah, CEO Sri Rami Reddy, Commissioner Sri Anjaneyulu, DPP Advisory council chairman of Nellore Dist Sri Subramanyam and others have participated in this programme.
Later the Executive Officer along with the people representatives, Dist Officials have participated in the kalyanamasthu awareness programme in ongole town on Oct 13 evening.

తిరుపతి, అక్టోబర్‌-13,2009: తిరుమల తిరుపతి దేవస్థానముల ఆధ్వర్యంలో రాష్ట్రప్రభుత్వం సహకారముతో రాష్ట్రంలోని 18 జిల్లాలో ఈరోజు 5వ విడత కల్యాణమస్తు కార్యక్రమముపై అవగాహనా సదస్సులు ఘనంగా నిర్వహించబడ్డాయి. అయా జిల్లాలో జిల్లా కలెక్టర్ల అధ్యక్షతన జరిగిన ఈ కార్యక్రమములో స్థానిక ప్రజాప్రతినిధులు, అధికారులు, మహిళా సంఘాలు, శ్రీవారి సేవకులు అధిక సంఖ్యలో ప్రజలు పాల్గొని విజయవంతం చేశారు. కాగా ఈ నెల 14వ తేది అనంతపురం జిల్లాలో అవగాహనా సదస్సు జరుగుతుంది. ప్రతి జిల్లాలోను కల్యాణమస్తు కార్యక్రమాన్ని విజయవంతం చేయాలని అధికార యంత్రాంగం కృతనిశ్చయంతో యున్నది. ఈ సందర్భంగా మంగళవారం నెల్లూరు పట్టణంలోని కస్తూరిభ కళాక్షేత్రం నందు ఏర్పాటు చేసిన 5వ విడత కల్యాణమస్తు అవగాహనా సదస్సులో తితిదే కార్యనిర్వహణాధికారి శ్రీ ఐ.వై.ఆర్‌. కృష్ణారావు ముఖ్యఅతిధిగా పాల్గొన్నారు.
ఈ సందర్భంగా ఆయన మాట్లాడుతూ ఈ కల్యాణమస్తు కార్యక్రమానికి గ్రామస్థాయిలో విస్తుృత ప్రచారం అవసరమని అదేవిధంగా కల్యాణమస్తు దరఖాస్తులు కూడా గ్రామస్థాయి వరకు వెళ్ళాలని అన్నారు. కల్యాణమస్తు కార్యక్రమం విజయవంతం కావాలంటే అధికార యంత్రాంగం శ్రద్ద వహించాలని, అంగన్‌వాడి కార్యకర్తలు, గ్రామ కార్యదర్శులు, మహిళాసంఘాలు, స్వచ్చంద సంస్థలు, శ్రీవారి సేవకులు, తదితరవిభాగాల వారు భాగా కృషిచేయాలని కోరారు. 18 ఎళ్ళు పైబడిన వధువు, 21 ఎళ్ళు పైబడిన వరుడు తమ తల్లిదండ్రుల అనుమతితో ఈకల్యాణమస్తులో పెళ్ళిచేసుకోవచ్చునని సూచించారు. ఈ సమూహిక వివాహ కార్యక్రమంలో ఉపయోగించే తాళిబొట్లు, మెట్టెలు, కంకణాలు మొదలైన మంగళకరమైన వస్తువులను తిరుమల శ్రీ వేంకటేశ్వర స్వామి వారి దివ్యపాదపద్మ సన్నిధిలో ఉంచి, ప్రత్యేక పూజలు నిర్వహించడం జరుగుతుందని తెలిపారు. పెళ్ళికుమార్తెకు మంగళసూత్రం, వెండి మెట్టెలు, వధువరులకు నూతన వస్త్రాలు పెళ్ళికంకణాలు, వివాహమంగళద్రవ్యాలు, మంగళవాయిద్యాలు, పురోహితులు అన్ని తితిదే సమకూర్చుతుందని ఈఅవకాశాన్ని అందరూ ఉపయోగించుకోవాలని సూచించారు.
అనంతరం నెల్లూరు జిల్లా కలెక్టర్‌ రామ్‌గోపాల్‌ మాట్లాడుతూ గత 4 విడతల కల్యాణమస్తు కార్యక్రమంలో జిల్లాలో సుమారు 900 వందల జంటలు ఒక్కటయ్యాయని పేర్కొన్నారు. ఈ విడత పెద్దసంఖ్యలో కల్యాణమస్తు కార్యక్రమంలో పెళ్ళిళ్ళు చేసుకోవాలని కోరారు. హిందూ సాంప్రదాయంలో వివాహ వ్యవస్థకు అత్యంత ప్రాధాన్యత ఉన్నదని గుర్తుచేశారు. కుల,వర్ణ,వర్గ వివక్ష లేకుండా బీద,ధనిక తారతమ్యం లేకుండా అందరూ ఈ కల్యాణమస్తును సద్వినియోగం చేసుకోవాలని పిలుపునిచ్చారు. అనంతరం గూడూరు ఎం.ఎల్‌.ఎ. దుర్గాప్రసాద్‌, నెల్లూరు ఎం.ఎల్‌.ఎ. శ్రీధరకృష్ణారెడ్డి, జడ్‌పి చైర్మెన్‌ కాకాని గోవర్థన్‌రెడ్డి, తదితరులు ఈ కల్యాణమస్తును సద్వినియోగం చేసుకోవాలని ప్రజలను కోరారు. అంతకు మునుపు అన్నమాచార్య ప్రాజెక్ట్‌కళాకారులు ఆలకించిన అన్నమయ్య కీర్తనలు ఆహుతులను అలరించాయి.
