ENDOWMENTS MINISTER VISITS DAMS

Tirumala, 1 December 2015: The AP Minister for Endowments Sri Manikyala Rao visited various dams in Tirumala on Tuesday evening.

Later speaking to media persons he said, due to recent rains all the dams in Tirumala including Gogabham, Papavinasanam, Akasa Ganga, Kumaradhara and Pasupudhara are full to their capacities. “The TTD officials said that there will not be any problem for drinking water requirements for the next 380 days. So the locals and pilgrims do not have any water woes for the next one year”, he reiterated.

Water Works EE Sri Narasimha Murthy accompanied the minister during his visit to Gogarbham, Papavinasanam and Akasa Ganga dams.
