Tirumala, 10 May 2018: The Slotted Sarva Darshan (SSD) system was introduced with a noble aim to reduce long waiting hours by pilgrims in queue lines and compartments, said, Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju.
Speaking to media persons at Tirumala on Thursday, the JEO elaborated on the motto behind the introduction of SSD in Telugu, Tamil and English via media. He said, TTD has introduced Time slot system initially for Rs.300 special entry darshan tickets four years ago. On July 17 last, we have introduced similar system for Divya Darshan pilgrims which has also yielded fruitful results. On the same lines we have introduced slot wise darshan system even in Sarva Darshan also.
“Now the pilgrims, instead of waiting long hours in serpentine queue lines and compartments, can visit the other holy places in and around Tirupati, Tirumala and can have darshan of Lord Venkateswara in the specified time slot on the token. With this system we have not reduced darshan hours but only minimised the woes of pilgrims waiting for nearly 20-24hours in queue lines and compartments. The devotees can procure these free darshan tokens at Tirupati, Tirumala and also in footpath routes. To get this token each member of the family should bring their Aadhaar card. If they do not possess Aadhaar card, then they can get the darshan token of their choice slot with Voter ID card”, he informed.

మే 10, తిరుమల, 2018: సమయ నిర్దేశిత సర్వదర్శన విధానాన్ని భక్తులు సద్వినియోగం చేసుకోవాలని టిటిడి తిరుమల జెఈవో శ్రీ కె.ఎస్‌.శ్రీనివాసరాజు కోరారు.
తిరుమలలో గురువారం జెఈవో మీడియాతో మాట్లాడుతూ శ్రీవారి దర్శనార్థం విచ్చేస్తున్న భక్తులకు ఎన్నో సౌకర్యాలు కల్పిస్తున్నట్టు తెలిపారు. నాలుగేళ్ల క్రితం రూ.300/- ప్రత్యేక ప్రవేశ దర్శన విధానాన్ని, 2017, జులై 17న కాలినడక భక్తులకు టైంస్లాట్‌ విధానాన్ని ప్రారంభించి నిర్దేశిత సమయంలో స్వామివారి దర్శనం కల్పిస్తున్నట్టు చెప్పారు. సర్వదర్శనం భక్తులకు కూడా ఇలాంటి దర్శనం కల్పించాలన్న ఉద్దేశంతో 2017 డిసెంబరులో 6 రోజుల పాటు ప్రయోగాత్మకంగా సమయ నిర్దేశిత సర్వదర్శనం టోకెన్లు భక్తులకు అందించినట్టు వివరించారు. ఇందులో సాంకేతిక అంశాలను సవరించుకుని ఏప్రిల్‌ 28న సమయ నిర్దేశిత సర్వదర్శనం టోకెన్లను సాఫ్ట్‌లాంఛ్‌ చేశామని, మే 2వ తేదీ నుండి పూర్తిస్థాయిలో అమలుచేస్తున్నామని తెలియజేశారు. మే నెలలో ఇప్పటివరకు ఒక లక్షా 36 వేల మంది భక్తులు ఈ విధానంలో సంతృప్తికరంగా స్వామివారిని దర్శించుకున్నట్టు చెప్పారు.
ప్రస్తుత విధానంలో సర్వదర్శనం భక్తుల దర్శన సమయం ఏమాత్రం తగ్గలేదని, భక్తులు క్యూలైన్లు, కంపార్ట్‌మెంట్లలో ఎక్కువసేపు వేచి ఉండాల్సిన అవసరం లేకుండా చేశామని జెఈవో స్పష్టం చేశారు. తిరుమల, తిరుపతిలో టోకెన్లు పొందిన భక్తులు తమకు నిర్దేశించిన సమయంలోపు పుణ్యక్షేత్రాలు, సందర్శనీయ ప్రాంతాలను సందర్శించవచ్చన్నారు. తిరుమలలోని పలు ప్రాంతాలతో పాటు తిరుపతిలోని రైల్వేస్టేషన్‌కు ఇరువైపులావున్న విష్ణునివాసం, గోవిందరాజస్వామి సత్రాలు, ఆర్‌టిసి బస్టాండ్‌, శ్రీనివాసం కాంప్లెక్స్‌, అలిపిరి వద్ద భూదేవి కాంప్లెక్స్‌లో టోకెన్లు జారీ చేస్తున్నట్టు చెప్పారు. కుటుంబ సభ్యులందరి ఆధార్‌కార్డులు చూపాలని, లేనిపక్షంలో మాత్రమే ఓటరుకార్డులు చూపి ఉచితంగా టోకెన్లు పొందాలని భక్తులను కోరారు.
