Tirumala, 13 October 2018: On the evening of the Saturday during the ongoing Navaratri Brahmotsvams, Sri Malayappa Swamy took out a majestic ride on Sarvabhoopala Vahanam and blessed the devotees who thronged the galleries of the four mada streets signifying that He is the Lord of Lords along.

The Lord was resplendent in the Navaneetha Krishna alankaram rich in flower and jewllery decorations, the alankaram signified krishna on the silver ladder trying to steal the butter from the vessel above depicting, one of the childhood episodes of krishna.

SIGNIFICANCE

Sarvabhoopala means that the Supreme Commander of the entire cosmos.

The message that comes out of this Vahanam of Sarva Bhoopala is to indicate that Lord Venkateswara controlled the entire universe, to protect the people, which is the quality of a true leader. అక్టోబ‌రు 13, తిరుమల 2018; శ్రీవారి న‌వ‌రాత్రి బ్రహ్మోత్సవాల్లో భాగంగా నాలుగో రోజు శ‌నివారం రాత్రి శ్రీమలయప్ప స్వామివారు ఉభయదేవేరులతో కలిసి న‌వ‌నీత కృష్ణ అలంకారంలో ఆలయ నాలుగు మాడ వీధుల్లో విహరించి భక్తులకు దర్శనమిచ్చారు. రాత్రి 8 నుండి 10 గంటల వరకు స్వామివారు నాలుగు మాడ వీధుల్లో విహరించి భక్తులకు దర్శనభాగ్యం కల్పించారు. వాహనం ముందు గజరాజులు నడుస్తుండగా, భక్తజన బృందాలు చెక్కభజనలు, జీయ్యంగార్ల గోష్టితో స్వామివారిని కీర్తిస్తుండగా, మంగళవాయిద్యాల నడుమ స్వామివారి వాహనసేవ కోలాహలంగా జరిగింది. భక్తులు అడుగడుగునా కర్పూరహారతులు సమర్పించి శ్రీవారిని దర్శించుకున్నారు.

సర్వభూపాల అంటే అందరు రాజులు అని అర్థం. వీరిలో దిక్పాలకులు కూడా చేరతారు. తూర్పుదిక్కుకు ఇంద్రుడు, ఆగ్నేయానికి అగ్ని, దక్షిణానికి యముడు, నైరుతికి నిరృతి, పశ్చిమానికి వరుణుడు, వాయువ్యానికి వాయువు, ఉత్తరానికి కుబేరుడు, ఈశాన్యానికి పరమేశ్వరుడు అష్టదిక్పాలకులుగా విరాజిల్లుతున్నారు. వీరందరూ స్వామివారిని తమ భుజస్కంధాలపై, హృదయంలో ఉంచుకుని సేవిస్తారు. తద్వారా వారి పాలనలో ప్రజలు ధన్యులవుతారు అనే సందేశాన్ని ఈ వాహనసేవ నుంచి గ్రహించవచ్చు.
