AADHAR MUST FROM JULY 20 FOR ANGAPRADAKSHINA-TIRUMALA JEO

Tirumala, 18 July 2016: Making Aadhar card mandatory for the pilgrim devotees who are willing to have Angapradakshina tickets, Tirumala Jeo Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju said the new system will come into effect from July 20.

After the completion weekly review meeting with senior officers of Tirumala over the ongoing developmental works in various departments at Annamaiah Bhavanam on Monday, speaking to media the Jeo said TTD has already made Aadhar card mandatory for the locals darshan on every month. On the similar lines the angapradakshina darshan will also be observed making Aadhar card mandatory from Wednesday onwards,” he added.

The Jeo also said henceforth the boondi potu will be cleaned during every 15 days on every Dark moon and full moon days. “The health department in coordination with Potu will take up this task on regular basis”, he maintained.

With respect to parakamani, the Jeo said very soon amendments will be brought in parakamani including clearing of hundials to speed up the counting process.
