OCTOPUS TO OFFER HI FI SECURITY COVER IN TIRUMALA-EO

TTD OFFERS 1.6ACRES OF LAND AND RS.5CR TO OCTOPUS BUILDING

Tirumala, 18 July 2016: Describing Octopus as one of the most efficient defence systems in the state security, TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao expressed his confidence that this force will provide With a noble aim to provide hi-fi security cover to multitude of visiting pilgrims as well the Tirumala shrine.

The TTD EO along with DGP of AP Sri JV Ramudu took part in the traditional Bhoomi Puja ceremony in Tirumala on Monday.

Later speaking to media persons on this occasion, the EO said considering the importance of the safety of Tirumala temple and its pilgrims, the state government has allotted Octopus security to TTD. With an aim to provide them a permanent building, TTD has allotted 1.6acres of land and a initial grant of Rs.5crores towards the structure. Today as a prelude Bhoomi Puja has been performed and the permanent building will emerge soon”, he maintained.

Later the police boss of AP thanked the state government and TTD for the elaborate arrangements towards the construction of Octopus building in Tirumala.
