ACTION PLAN TO ENHANCE TRANSPARENCY IN COMMODITIES STORAGE

Tirupati, 2 November 2015: TTD EO Dr D Sambasiva Rao on Monday directed the officers concerned to come out with a specific action plan to enhance transparency in the system of storage of important commodities like Cow Ghee, BG Dal etc which are chiefly used in the preparation of prasadams and annaprasadams.

During the senior officers meeting held at his chambers in TTD Administrative Building, he said, the records for the above ingredients should also be maintained in a transparent manner.

Later he instructed the HDPP to revive its programmes and plan for unique bhajan troupes. He also instructed the SVBC to plan outside temple live programmes in such a way that it should not affect the daily routine live programmes.

He directed the temple officials of Tiruchanoor to come out with constructive sketch about the parking provisions for the ensuing annual brahmotsavams at Tiruchanoor.

On the other hand he instructed the Sapthagiri Editor to come out with an action plan on bringing all the pages in the magazine in colour. He directed the printing press officials to reprint the books which have huge demand in market on a fast pace.
