Adbhuta Shanti Yagam performed at Lord Balaji temple in Kumbha Mela

Allahabad, February 25:  A unique and spectacular vedic ritual of Adbhuta Shanti Yagam was performed at the Lord Venkateswara Temple in the Kumbha Mela grounds  ear Allabad to beget blessings of Almighty for the all round prosperity, good health and well being of the global mankind and humanity.


The performance of highly acclaimed Vedic ritual was on the eve of holy and uspicious muhurtam at the ongoing Kumbha Mela attracted huge crowd of devotees and believers in Lord Venkateswara.


Speaking on the occasion the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam Executive Officer Sri L V  Subramanyam said the TTD was committed to perform such Vedic and spiritual rituals for the betterment of the society in general and upliftment of the poor and weaker sections with the divine blessings of Lord Venkateswara.


He said the ‘Havis‘ (divine blessings and outcome) of the Yagam would have all pervading impact on the mankind in not only rekindling the message of universal brotherhood , peace and communal harmony besides becoming a deterrent against all evil forces that spread ill-will, hatred, violence and inequalities in the society.


He said the purpose of all the sacred and ancient tirual’s in temples including that of Tirumala was to invoke the Narayana Shakti which will promote health, wealth , peace and harmony between all sects and living beings in the world.

 
Earlier the idols of supreme deity of Lord Balaji and his consorts were taken in a procession to the Sangam ghats at Prayag and given a holy bath amidst Vedic chants and traditional drum beats . Later the Snpana Thirumanjanam and Chakrananam were also performed to the deities at the Kumbha Mela temple premises of Lord Venkateswara.


Among those who participated in the holy and divine events at Allahabad were TTD EO Sri L V Subramanyam,CV & SO Sri Ashok Kumar, Dy.EO Sri Umapathi , PRO Sri T. Ravi Kumar.
