ADDITIONAL SEATING TO PH AND AGED PEOPLE WAITING HALL

SRIVARI SEVAKULU SERVICES IN SURVEY-TTD EO

Tirumala, 26 May 2017: The waiting hall meant for Physically Challenged and old age people will soon get additional seating capacity and we have already released Rs.50 lakhs for the same, said TTD EO Sri Anil Kumar Singhal.

After Srivari Seva meeting, addressing media persons in Asthana Mandapam on Friday, the EO said, “We are also planning to issue tokens to avoid unnecessary waiting by this category pilgrims. Apart from this we will also look in to the feasibility of introducing access cards in VQC 1 after negotiating with other officers. We are also contemplating of bringing soft ware modification in advance booking of accommodation soon for the benefit of pilgrims”, he maintained.

Later appreciating the survey reports by Srivari Sevakulu, the EO said, their services will be utilised in collecting feed back reports from the pilgrims to provide best possible services to pilgrims. “In spite of our uninterrupted food, beverages and water distribution the recent feed back reports obtained from pilgrims waiting in VQC compartments, some devotees complained of not receiving milk to their kids. Our Annaprasadam wing is continuously serving food and beverages to pilgrims. Those who could not receive have been complaining. To avoid such problems, we have now decided to gather feed back reports from pilgrims during their waiting time in compartments from Sevakulu. The sevakulu will in turn intimate the same to the concerned official to sort out the problem immediately. Very soon registers will be placed in all VQC 1 and 2 compartments and feed back reports from pilgrims will be collected by sevakulu”, he added.

“Apart from this we will also erect display screens in all the compartments to showcase the timings of darshan and also the situation report for better information to pilgrims. We will also display the numbers of concerned officials to address the problem without delay. We are also contemplating to provide similar display screens in Alipiri itself, so that the pilgrim can make up their mind and plan their darshan schedule accordingly”, the EO felt.
