ADMISSIONS INTO TTD EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTIONS GOES ON-LINE FOR THE FIRST TIME

Common online Admission into TTD Degree and Junior Colleges for the Academic year 2015-16

Tirupati, June 6: The temple administration of Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams(TTDs) for the first time, introduced admissions in its educational institution through on-line for the academic year 2015-16.

Briefing the new mechanism of admissions to media persons in SPW Degree and PG college in Tirupati on Saturdayevening, Tirupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar said, TTD has worked out a lot to see that the web application for admissions into TTD Degree and Junior colleges be browser friendly so that it will be easier for the candidates to apply on-line.

The JEO said, “Applications are invited online from the eligible candidates for admission in to 1st year Degree course in the three TTD Degree colleges viz. SV Arts College, SGS Arts College and SPW Degree college and admission in to 1st year Intermediate course in the two TTD Junior Colleges-SV Junior College and SPW Junior College. A common application has to be submitted online for admission in to any of the three (3) TTD Degree Colleges and for admission into any of the Two (2) TTD Junior Colleges. The online application is available onwww.admission.tirumala.org from 7th of June onwards”, he maintained.

Elaborating on the guidelines, the JEO said, the important Admission dates includes
Issue of notification on June 7, on-line submission of application will be open from June 7 to June 22, first phase of admission Interviews will be conducted from June 26 to June 30 and second phase from July 07 to July 11. Admission and processing fee for both Degree as well as Junior College is Rs.50/- to be paid through D.D drawn in any Nationalized Bank payable at Tirupati in favour of E.O, TTD, the JEO added.

He also said the candidates should download the online filled admission format and should submit the hard copy in duplicate along with the relevant attested copies of certificates before the last date either in person or by post. These copies should be submitted to the principal SPW Degree College for admission into degree and Principal SPW Junior College for admission into junior colleges with respect to girls while the boys have to submit the application to the Principal SGS Arts College for admission into Degree College and Principal SV Junior College for admission into junior college.

“Later the selected candidates will be intimated by Post, SMS, e-mail if given, for appearing admission interview. They should also submit a self addressed stamped envelope along with hardcopy of the application. We will also display the list of selected candidates on the website for information. The selected candidates can also download the selection/intimation letter from the above mentioned website duly referring the admission I.D. The candidates have to produce original certificates/Documents during admission interview for verification. We have done a lot of exercise before the on-line application is rolled out”, the JEO reiterated.

Devasthanams Educational Officer Sri Vijay Kumar, Deputy EO Education Smt Snehalatha, SPWDegree and PG College Principal Smt Gnanakumari and other college principals were also present.
