RATHOTSAVAM IN SRI PRASANNA VENKATESWARA SWAMY TEMPLE

Appalayagunta, 6 June 2015: Thousands of devotees dragged the chariot carrying deities of Lord Prasanna Venkateswara along with His consorts around the temple during `Rathothsavam’ (chariot festival) on Saturday as part of the ongoing Brahmotsavam. The flower-bedecked wooden chariot was tastefully decorated for the occasion even as `Govinda… Govinda’ chant rent the air.
