AKHANDA GITA PARAYANAM HELD _ భక్తిభావంతో సాగిన అఖండ గీతా పారాయణం
TIRUMALA, 04 DECEMBER 2022: In connection with Gita Jayanati on Sunday, Akhanda Bhagavat Gita Parayanam was held in Nada Neerajanam platform at Tirumala.
The spiritual event commenced sharp at 7am and concluded by 11am. The Parayanam team was led by renowned Vedic Scholar Professor Sri Kuppa Vishwanatha Sharma.
All the 700 Shlokas from the 18 Chapters of Bhagavat Gita are recited without break for four-hours.
Earlier the programme commenced with the famous Annamacharya Sankeertana, “Ani Anatiche Krishnudarjununito” and concluded with “Krishnam Vande Jagad Gurum” Bhajan rendered by TTD Astana Vidhwan Dr Balakrishna Prasad and team in a melodious manner.
TTD EO Sri AV Dharma Reddy, In-Charge Vice-Chancellor of SV Vedic University Sri Rani Sadasivamurthy, Dharmagiri Veda Vignana Peetham Principal Sri KSS Avadhani, Vedic scholars including Sri Narasimhacharyulu, Sri Maruti, Sri Ramanujam, Sri Raghavendra, hundreds of devotees participated in the event with utmost devotion.

తిరుపతి, 2022 డిసెంబరు 04: గీతా జయంతిని పురస్కరించుకుని ఆదివారం తిరుమలలోని నాద నీరాజనం వేదికపై అఖండ భగవద్గీత పారాయణం నిర్వహించారు. ఈ కార్యక్రమం ఉదయం 7 గంటలకు ప్రారంభమై 11 గంటలకు ముగిసింది. ఈ కార్యక్రమాన్ని ఎస్వీబీసీ ప్రత్యక్ష ప్రసారం చేసింది.
ప్రముఖ వేదపండితులు శ్రీ కుప్పా విశ్వనాథ శర్మ ఆధ్వర్యంలో పండితులు భగవద్గీతలోని 18 అధ్యాయాలలో గల మొత్తం 700 శ్లోకాలను నాలుగు గంటలపాటు నిరంతరాయంగా పారాయణం చేశారు.
అంతకుముందు టిటిడి ఆస్థాన విద్వాంసులు శ్రీ గరిమెళ్ల బాలకృష్ణ ప్రసాద్ బృందం మొదట్లో “అని ఆనతిచ్చె కృష్ణుడర్జునునితో”, చివరగా “కృష్ణం వందే జగద్ గురుం” కీర్తనలను భావయుక్తంగా ఆలపించారు.
ఈ కార్యక్రమంలో టిటిడి ఈవో శ్రీ ఎవి ధర్మారెడ్డి, ఎస్‌వి వేద విశ్వవిద్యాలయం ఇన్‌ఛార్జ్ వైస్ ఛాన్సలర్ ఆచార్య రాణి సదాశివమూర్తి, ధర్మగిరి వేద విజ్ఞాన పీఠం ప్రిన్సిపాల్ శ్రీ కెఎస్‌ఎస్ అవధాని, వేదపండితులు శ్రీ నరసింహాచార్యులు, శ్రీ మారుతి, శ్రీ రామానుజం, శ్రీ రాఘవేంద్ర, వందలాది మంది భక్తులు పాల్గొన్నారు.
