ANIVARA ASTHANAM IN TIRUMALA TEMPLE ON JULY 16 – జులై 16న శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలో ఆణివార ఆస్థానం
Tirumala, 17 June 2017: The annual festival of the Temple Accounts, Anivara Asthanam will be observed in the famous hill temple of Lord Venkateswara at Tirumala on July 16. This is one of the most important annual festivals among the series that is being observed with religious pomp and gaiety every year on the auspicious time of the Sun entering the asterism of Karkataka in the constellation.
ACCOUNTING FESTIVAL
The uniqueness about this festival is that the previous year’s accounts of the office are presented before the deity by the principal officers and are taken back to signify that the ‘Lord’ finds the officers fit enough to hold their respective offices.
MAHANTS BEGAN BUDGETING ON THIS DAY IN ANI MONTH
Earlier when the Mahants were administering the affairs of Tirumala temple, the commenced annual budgeting on the day they have taken over the reins of administration which happened on the last day of “Ani” month which is auspicious for Tamils and hence known as “Anivara Asthanam”.
NEW BOOKS WILL BE OPENED
New books will also be issued for recording finances of the next fiscal. In the temple terms, this entire process is called “Asthanam” which will be performed inside sanctum sanctorum near Bangaru Vakili in the presence of processional deities of Lord Malayappa Swamy and his two consorts and Viswaksenulavaru between 7am to 9am. The Jeeyangar Swamijis of Tirumala will present new set of clothes to presiding deity and processional deities on this day.
” LACHANA” GETS DIVINE BLESSINGS
The key bunch of the coffers is known as “Lachana” will be placed at the holy feet of Lord Venkateswara for His divine blessings. Later “Rupayi” Harati, will be rendered where in the staff who took part in this fete offer a rupee in the coffers in the presence of TTD EO and the total collection will be counted.
PUSHPA PALLAKI IN THE EVENING
Meanwhile in the evening there will be the procession of Pushpa Pallaki between 6pm to 7pm where in the Lord Malayappa Swamy flanked by His two consorts Sridevi and Bhudevi will be taken for a celestial ride along the four mada streets in the finely decked palanquin.

కలియుగ ప్రత్యక్ష దైవమైన శ్రీవేంకటేశ్వరస్వామి వెలసివున్న తిరుమల దివ్యక్షేత్రంలో జులై 16వ తేది ఆదివారంనాడు సాలకట్ల ఆణివార ఆస్థానం పర్వదినాన్ని టిటిడి ఘనంగా నిర్వహించనుంది.
చారిత్రక నేపథ్యం :
సాధారణంగా ఈ ఉత్సవాన్ని ప్రతి సంవత్సరం సౌరమానం ప్రకారం దక్షిణాయన పుణ్యకాలంలో కర్కాటక సంక్రాంతినాడు నిర్వహిస్తారు. అయితే సౌరమానాన్ని అనుసరించే తమిళుల కాలమానం ప్రకారం ఆణిమాసం చివరి రోజున నిర్వహించే కొలువు కావడంతో ఆణివార ఆస్థానం అని పేరు.
పూర్వం మహంతులు దేవస్థాన పరిపాలనను స్వీకరించిన రోజు అయిన ఈ ఆణివార ఆస్థానం పర్వదినంనాటి నుండి టిటిడి వారి ఆదాయ వ్యయాలు, నిల్వలు తదితర వార్షిక లెక్కలు ప్రారంభమైయ్యేవి. టిటిడి ధర్మకర్తల మండలి ఏర్పడిన తరువాత వార్షిక బడ్జెట్‌ను మార్చి – ఏప్రిల్‌ నెలలకు మార్చారు. అయినా శ్రీవారి ఆలయంలో ఈ వార్షిక సాలకట్ల ఉత్సవం నిరంతరాయంగా సౌరమానాన్ని అనుసరించి జరుగుతుండడం విశేషం.
ఆర్జితసేవలు రద్దు :
అణివార ఆస్థానం పర్వదినం సందర్భంగా జులై 16వ తేదీ ఆదివారం కల్యాణోత్సవం, ఊంజల్‌సేవ, బ్రహ్మూెత్సవం, వసంతోత్సవం, సహస్రదీపాలంకార సేవలను టిటిడి రద్దు చేసింది.
ఉత్సవ విశిష్టత :
ఈ ఉత్సవం రోజున ఉదయం 7 నుండి 9 గం||ల నడుమ బంగారువాకిలి ముందు గల ఘంటా మండపంలో సర్వభూపాల వాహనంలో ఉభయదేవేరులతో కూడిన శ్రీ మలయప్ప స్వామివారు గరుత్మంతునికి అభిముఖంగా కొలువుకు వేంచేపు చేస్తారు. మరో పీఠంపై స్వామివారి సర్వసైన్యాధ్యక్షుడైన శ్రీ విష్వక్సేనులవారు దక్షిణాభిముఖంగా వేంచేపు చేస్తారు. అనంతరం ఆనందనిలయంలోని మూలవిరాట్టుకు, బంగారువాకిలి వద్ద ఆస్థానంలో వేంచేపు చేసిన ఉత్సవమూర్తులకు ప్రత్యేకపూజలు, ప్రసాదాలు నివేదిస్తారు.
జీయ్యంగార్ల వస్త్ర సమర్పణ :
శ్రీశ్రీశ్రీ పెద్ద జీయంగార్‌ పెద్ద వెండితట్టలో ఆరు పెద్ద పట్టువస్త్రాలను తలపై పెట్టుకొని మంగళవాయిద్యాల నడుమ ఊరేగింపుగా విచ్చేస్తారు. శ్రీశ్రీశ్రీ చిన్న జీయంగార్‌, టిటిడి ఈవో, జెఈవో, ఇతర ఉన్నతాధికారులు వెంట వస్తారు. శ్రీవారి మూలవిరాట్టుకు ఈ వస్త్రాలను సమర్పిస్తారు. వీటిలో నాలుగింటిని మూలమూర్తికి అలంకరిస్తారు. మిగిలిన రెండు వస్త్రాలలో ఒకటి మలయప్పస్వామివారికి, మరొకటి విష్వక్సేనులవారికి అలంకరిస్తారు.
అనంతరం శ్రీవారి ఆలయ ప్రధాన అర్చకులు తమ తలకు శ్రీవారి పాదవస్త్రంతో ”పరివట్టం” (చిన్న పట్టుగుడ్డ) కట్టుకొని స్వామివారి ద్వారా బియ్యపు దక్షణ స్వీకరించి ‘నిత్యైశ్వర్యోభవ’ అని స్వామివారిని ఆశీర్వదిస్తారు. ఆ తరువాత అర్చకులు శ్రీశ్రీశ్రీ పెద్ద జీయంగారికి, శ్రీశ్రీశ్రీ చిన్న జీయంగారికి, టిటిడి తరఫున కార్యనిర్వహణాధికారికి ‘లచ్చన’ అను తాళపు చెవి గుత్తిని వరుస క్రమంలో కుడిచేతికి తగిలిస్తారు. హారతి, చందనం, తాంబూలం, తీర్థం, శఠారి మర్యాదలు చేసిన అనంతరం ఆ తాళపు చెవి గుత్తిని శ్రీవారి పాదాలచెంత ఉంచుతారు.
రూపాయి హారతి :
ఈ ఉత్సవానికి విచ్చేసిన భక్తులందరి వద్ద ఒక్కొక్క రూపాయి వసూలు చేసి దానితో రూపాయి హరతి ఇస్తారు. ఇలా జమ అయిన రూపాయలను టిటిడి ఈవో సమక్షంలో ఖజానాకు జమ చేస్తారు.
పుష్ప పల్లకీపై ఊరేగింపు :
ఈ కార్యక్రమం అనంతరం సాయంత్రం 6 నుండి 7 గం||ల వరకు శ్రీదేవి, భూదేవి సమేత శ్రీమలయప్ప స్వామివారు తిరుమల పురవీధుల గుండా అత్యంత శోభాయమానంగా అలంకరించిన పుష్పపల్లకీపై ఊరేగుతూ భక్తులకు కనువిందు చేస్తారు.
