ANKURARPANAM FOR SRI PAT BRAHMOTSAVAMS ON NOV 18

Tiruchanur, 15 November 2014: As a prelude to the nine-day annual karthika brahmotsavams of Goddess Sri Padmavathi Devi temple at Tiruchanoor, the Ankurarpana Mahotsavam will be conducted on November 18 as per Pancharatra Agama.

On this occasion, Laksha Kumkumarchana- a special puja will be conducted on the same day from 7am to 12 noon after Sahasranamarchana to the processional deity of Goddess Padmavathi Devi in Sri Krishna Swamy Mukha Mandapam.

In the evening, the Ankurarpanam festival will take place from 6.30pm onwards with Punyahavachanam, Raksha Bandhanam, Senapathi Utsavam etc.

On November 19, the Dhwajarohana Mahotsavam will take place in the temple from 9.16am to 9.30am in Dhanur Lagnam. The nine-day vehicle processions during brahmotsavams will be flagged off with the Chinna Sesha Vahanam on the same day evening between 8pm to 10pm. Every day there will be vahana sevas both in the morning and in the evening between 8am to 10am and 8pm to 10pm respectively.

ARRANGEMENTS:

TTD has made special arrangements for the sake of multitude of visiting pilgrims including the first aid centres in Padmavathi Chowltry, Vahana Mandapam apart from Tholappa Gardens. The medical staff will render services to pilgrims in two shifts every day from 8am till midnight.
