TEMPLE COMING UP IN A SPRAWLING 10-ACRE AREA AT ULWE -TTD EO

TIRUMALA, 11 AUGUST 2022: The arrangements are underway for the Bhoomi Puja of Bhagavan Balaji ka Mandir (Sri Venkateswara Swamy temple) coming up at Ulwe in Navi Mumbai which is scheduled on August 21.

Talking to media persons at Annamaiah Bhavan in Tirumala on Thursday, the EO said, the Maharastra Government has allotted at 10acre prime land at Ulwe near Navi Mumbai by the side of Coastal Corridor, which is going to be a focal point in next couple of years.

“Already the temple-related rituals started as per the tenets of Vaikhanasa Agamam. On August 10, Vishwakaena Aradhana, Punyahavachanam, Kanya Pooja, Vrishabha Pooja, Bhookarshanam, Beejavapanam were performed under the supervision of Tirumala Pradhana Archaka Sri Venugopala Deekshitulu”, EO maintained.

The cost of the main temple is estimated to be Rs.100 cr while the remaining constructions are estimated to be another 100 cr. The Raymond Chief Sri Goutam Singhania has already come forward to maintain the cost of the entire temple construction “, the EO added.

JEOs Smt Sada Bhargavi, Sri Veerabrahmam, CEO SVBC Sri Shanmukh Kumar, CE Sri Nageswara Rao, SE 2 Sri Jagadeeshwar Reddy, and other officials were also present.
