NELLORE, AUGUST 7: The environs of Nellore city was caught under spiritual fever with the curtains being opened up on the penultimate day for the third phase of Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavotsavams in the spacious AC Subba Reddy stadium on Thursday evening.
All the roads lead to the venue which commenced with melodious notes of Dr G Balakrishna Prasad’s Annamacharya Sankeertana followed by the eloquent narration of Brahmasri Chaganti Koteswara Rao.
Earlier, TTD Chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy said, TTD has taken up a wide range of religious activities not only in the country but also overseas.
TIrupati JEO Sri P Bhaskar said with an aim to enable a common man to witness the Sevas that are performed in Tirumala shrine every day to the presiding deity of Lord Venkateswara sitting right at their home town, TTD has designed this unique programme which became an instant hit among masses.
