Srinivasa Mangapuram, 24 February 2017: The Navahnika salakatla Brahmotsavam came to a grand end in Sri Kalyana Venakteswara Swamy temple in Sreenivasa Mangapuram on Friday with ceremonial chakrasnanam.

The temple priests performed holy dip to Sri Sudarshana Chakrattalwar, the sacred disc weapon of Lord in the temple tank, after performing snapana tirumanjanam to the processional deities and sudarshana chakrattalwar amidst chanting of vedic mantras

At the scheduled muhurat, the priests took the disc in the waters of temple tank and immersed it and performed chakra snanam which marked the grand completion of the annual event.

Thousands of devotees witnessed the entire ceremony. TTD had made elaborate arrangements of security. Srivari Seva volunteers have also been deployed for pilgrim crowd management.

Tirupati JEO Sri Pola Bhaskar, temple DyEO Sri Venkataiah, AEO Sri Dhananjeyulu and others were also present.
