CHAKRATEERTHA MUKKOTI PERFORMED WITH RELIGIOUS FERVOUR IN TIRUMALA

Tirumala, Dec 14: The annual Chakrateertha Mukkoti has been performed with religious fervour in Tirumala on Saturday.

Among the 66crore divine water falls believed to be located in Tirumala, Chakra Teertham is said to be one of the most auspicious “Saptha Teerthas”(Seven) in Seshachalam ranges.

After the second bell in Srivari temple, a team of archakas, temple officials went to the holy Chakra Teertham which is located in Southern side to the temple in deep green forests. Special puja and abhishekam has been performed to the presiding deities of Sri Sudarshana Chakrattalwar, Sri Narasimha Swamy and Sri Anjaneya Swamy.

TTD Chairman Sri K Bapiraju, Tirumala JEO Sri KS Sreenivasa Raju, Temple Peishkar Sri R.Selvam took part in the religious fete.
