CHANTING DIVINE NAMES IS THE ULTIMATE WAY TO GET SALVATION IN KALIYUGA-PONTIFFS

Tirupati, 27 January 2017: The easiest and best method to attain salvation in Kaliyuga is through chanting divine names of Lord in the form of Bhajans and keertans, advocated the pontiffs of Udipi mutts Sri Vidyadheesa Teertha Swami and Sri Esapriya Teertha Swami.

Delivering their spiritual message as a part of the ongoing three day Purandhara Dasa Aradhana Mahotsavams in Tirumala on Friday at Asthanamandapam, the pontiffs said, Sri Purandhara Dasa dedicated his entire life in penning over 4.75lakh sankeertans in praise of Lord and attained salvation. “He not only chanted those keertans but made thousands and thousands to follow his path. Even after several centuries these sankeertans are immortal as they were sung by millions and millions across the world”, they maintained.

Later the pontiffs felicitated five pundits including Sri Puttur Narasimha Naik, Sri RK PAdmanabha, Sri Panchamukhi Pavamanacharya, Smt Chitra Gopinath, Smt Padma Srinivasan for their research and services on Purandhara dasa sankeertans with “Sri Purandhara Prasasthi” award.
