CHIEF JUSTICE OF INDIA OFFERS PRAYERS AT TIRUMALA TEMPLE
TIRUMALA, 14 April 2014: Honb’le Chief Justice of Supreme Court of India Justice Sri P. Sathasivam accompanied by wife Smt. Saraswathi Sathasivam offered prayers in the hill shrine of Lord Venkateswara on Monday morning along with his family members.
The Honourable ChiefJustice was earlier received with temple honours at the main entrance of the temple and later had darshan of Lord Venkateswara. One of the chief priests of the Tirumala temple Dr AV Ramana Dikshitulu explained the Honourable justice and his entourage about the significance of Lord and various ornaments being adorned to the presiding deity.
Later the Honourable CJ and his family members were rendered with Vedasirvachanam by a team of Vedic scholars inside Ranganayakula Mandapam. TTD EO Sri MG Gopal and JEO Sri K.S.Sreenivasa Raju offered Prasadams, lamination photo and religious books to the honourable chief justice of Supreme Court.
District Judge Sri Ravi Babu, DyEOs Sri Chinnamgari Ramana, Supdt of Police Sri Rajasekhar Babu, Sri Venkataiah, OSD Sri Damodar and others were present.
